ST. PAUL, Minn. (FOX 9) – The Minnesota Wild honored former Twins player Joe Mauer at Tuesday’s sport from the Philadelphia Flyers, offering a nod to the baseball legend.
Through the sport, gamers wore custom made Joe Mauer No. 7 jerseys in the course of pre-sport warmups. Mauer autographed the jerseys, which were auctioned off to reward Crescent Cove and the Minnesota Wild Basis. The auction will close March 1.
Mauer also done the ceremonial puck fall right before the sport and announced “Let’s Engage in Hockey” with relatives.
The player announced his retirement on Nov. 15 soon after a 15-12 months profession with the Minnesota Twins, which he completed with a .306 batting average and 2,123 hits in 1,858 online games.
Mauer and his wife, Maddie, are Crescent Cove Ambassadors. The firm features treatment and assistance to little ones and younger grown ups with a shortened daily life expectancy, and their families.
